Worship, Drama, God’s Word and Testimony. Everyone welcome so please invite everyone! All Saints Normanton – Sunday April 10th 2011, 6 -7 pm. “Empowering a changing generation through God’s unchanging word” We have been invited by the school to host in the church an after school club in the second half of next term once a week for six weeks. If you would like to help at the club or in planning please let Don know. Annual Self Declaration Forms are on the welcome desk, would everyone who holds a CRB please complete this form again and hand it in to the church office. Everyone who participates in any church activity and does not yet have a CRB please collect a form from the office. Rock Solid High Youth Club urgently require some men who would be willing to be on a rota to help out once every half term. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:15pm and work with children aged 11 – 13. If you are interested, please have a chat with Diane Brennan or Andy Vanstan who will tell you more about what is involved. Continue reading Rock Solid – Help Needed Candles are on the welcome desk for you to take home to fill and bring back with you to one of the Christingle services. If you would like to take one for anyone else in your family then please feel free to do so. Over the next couple of weeks please could you save any tin cans (preferably the ring pull ones as these are the safest) as we are going to be using them in the after school groups over the next few weeks up to Christmas. We are in need of some board games etc for The Well. If anybody is having a clear out before Christmas any donations would be gratefully received! We are thinking of starting up a new After-School Club based in the Parish Rooms. It will probably be on a Thursday from 4.00 pm until 5.00 pm and will be aimed at children in School Years 5 and 6 (ages 9 to 11 years). No experience necessary, but if you think you’ve got a particular skill and would like to get involved please see Diane Brennan. |
