Churches Together are holding a Lent course for all the churches in the Normanton & Altofts area. Each Tuesday night from the 28th Feb at 7.00. We will be hosting the first one here in church.

[...] Worship tonight at 6.00 for the handing on of the chairmanship from Revd Hotchen Altofts CofE to Revd Barry Lotz Methodist. All welcome. Next Sunday evening at 6.00 at St. John’s the regular 5th Sunday worship Edith Dawson is leaving the Baptist church to be a chaplain at Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield her farewell gathering at the Methodist Church between 4.15 and 5.45 pm followed by worship at 6.00 pm. It is an open invitation for all. Ecumenical Worship This will take place today Sunday 30th May 6.00 pm Normanton Methodist Church. All are welcome. Pentecost March of Witness – St John’s are marching through town on 23rd starting at 11.00 am so we will probably still be in worship when they are marching. If you want to join them they will be walking down the High Street. |
