Church Picnic & Rounders Sunday 18th July @ 5pm Church School Playing Field Parking available in the Church Car Park Bring your own picnic Light Hearted Fun with Runners Available!! Women’s Society The next meeting will be12 July - this will be our AGM. Everyone welcome. Next ‘WoW’ Meeting on 2nd June 2010 Suggestion is to meet together for a meal at the Bridge Inn. Please contact Anne or Rose if interested and we’ll arrange booking and transport. Everyone welcome. Floodlight – On Friday 14th May 2010, Floodlight will start at 6.30 pm but will finish at 8.30 pm. This is because we will be watching ‘Facing the Giants’. An afternoon celebrating the life of the Diocese on Sunday 13th June at Nostell Priory. Gates open at 12 noon, bring a picnic. Activities forall ages, Labyrinth, Grassroots Theatre Company, Bouncy Castle, Prayer Tent and displays from Deanery and Diocesan Organisations. Celebration Eucharist at 2.30 pm with preacher Archbishop Barry Morgan, Archbishop of Wales. Choral Evensong at 5.00 pm at Wragby Church with Wakefield Cathedral Choir. Womens Society – The next meeting will be on Monday 10th May where Don will be our guest. Freedom in Christ – If you are interested in joining a group after Easter starting on 20th April please speak to Dawn. She needs at least 6 people to form a group. The next meeting will be on Monday 12th April with guest Revd Pat Aitchinson. Come and meet Hazel Murgatroyd area representative for Open Doors as she leads us at our next prayer meeting for persecuted Christians on Saturday 17th April 10.30 am – 12 noon at Stephanie & Mike’s house |
