Right to Believe Campaign: This year the Organisation for the Islamic Conference (OIC), linking 57 countries with majority or significant Muslim populations, will once again introduce the Defamation of Religious Resolution in the United Nations. Freedom in Christ Youth We will be running a youth version of Freedom in Christ from Wednesday 29th September 2010. The course lasts for 13 weeks and will take place in the Parish Rooms from 7.30 till 9.00 pm, age range 13-18 years only. Please contact Gavin if you wish to attend this group Youth Leaders Meeting There will be a youth leaders meeting on Monday 25th October 2010 in the Parish Rooms, 7.00 till 8.30 pm. Please let Gavin know if you cannot attend before Friday 15th October. The next WoW event is Wednesday, 6 October 2010– please see the notice board or Rose for the details of where it will be held. We’re looking forward to seeing you. [...] Calling all Ladies – re the WoW factor! We’re trying a new format for the ‘Women on Wednesday’ meetings, in that each event will be hosted by someone different, if you are willing to host a WoW evening, please put your name against your preferred date on the list displayed on the notice board. If there is anything in particular you would like to cover in a topic then please add that as well. [...] We are thinking of starting up a new After-School Club based in the Parish Rooms. It will probably be on a Thursday from 4.00 pm until 5.00 pm and will be aimed at children in School Years 5 and 6 (ages 9 to 11 years). No experience necessary, but if you think you’ve got a particular skill and would like to get involved please see Diane Brennan. The next course will start tomorrow at the Vicarage at 7.30. Have a word with Dawn or Rose for more info. Or just turn up. 8th – 10th October, booking forms are very slow at coming in. It is now only four weeks so let’s have your completed forms now which are available on the welcome desk. Please put your booking and deposit in the box provided, book now to avoid disappointment. Paul Alexander and his wife Carol, principal of Mattersey Bible college and renowned conference speaker will lead our studies. The college is also intending to staff our [...] Are you interested in joining a Bible study group? From Tuesday 14th September at 7.30 pm we’ll be meeting weekly to study the Parables of Jesus. If you are interested please see either Andy or Sandy Vanstan or Pat Hartley. Alternatively call Andy & Sandy on 01924 899951 for details. Our next Monday afternoon walk is on the 13th. This will be a local walk of around 3 or 4 miles but we have not settled on the location yet, we will leave the Parish Church Rooms at 1.00 pm.
