Church Picnic & Rounders Sunday 18th July @ 5pm Church School Playing Field Parking available in the Church Car Park Bring your own picnic Light Hearted Fun with Runners Available!! Open Mic Night Aftershock are hosting an open mic night in Church on Tuesday 20th July from 7.00 – 10.00 pm. Volunteers are needed to help decorate the church with posters etc and also needed on the night to make everything run smoothly. Everyone is invited, food and drink will be provided. If you would like to play or volunteer please email theaftershocknormanton@gmail.com or speak to Terry Gill or Lauren wills. Women’s Society The next meeting will be12 July - this will be our AGM. Everyone welcome. Prayer Meeting -The meeting which should have been on the 13th June will be cancelled because of the Onward event at Nostell Priory Youth Academy Monday 24th May 2010, 7.00 pm till 9.00 pm at All Saints Normanton, Parish Rooms. If you are between the ages of 14 and 19 and you have a passion to: · Lead young people to Christ · Explore and apply your own spiritual and natural gifts · Engage in sound ‘Biblical Truth’s’ · Serve the local community And most important….Develop into the disciple that Jesus calls you to be….Then Monday nights are for you. “Empowering a changing generation through God’s unchanging word” Next ‘WoW’ Meeting on 2nd June 2010 Suggestion is to meet together for a meal at the Bridge Inn. Please contact Anne or Rose if interested and we’ll arrange booking and transport. Everyone welcome. Rock Solid – Wednesday 5.15 pm until 7.00 pm in the Parish Rooms. Help URGENTLY needed to run Rock Solid over the next couple of weeks due to holidays, bereavement and work commitments. We have quite a large group of boisterous boys, so if you think you can help in any way and already have CRB clearance for Church, please see Diane Brennan today Open Doors – Join us for Coffee and cake at the Open Doors Great Big Tea Party follwing the service on 30th May. Youth Leader’s Meeting – There will be a meeting for all involved in youth work (work with young people aged 13-25 on Monday 17th May in the Parish Rooms, 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm.
