Festive volunteers are needed to help with the making of the Christingles, which will be held in church on Thursday 22nd December at 6.30 pm. There will be mince pies and mulled wine too. Could the kind people making stars please give them to Lynsey before or bring them on the night, thank you.

The need for more volunteers has become more acute if you can help please speak to Diane. Leaders urgently required for this thriving and demanding ministry. Do you feel God is calling you to reach out to 11-13 year olds in our community who are generally unchurched? The group meets Wednesday from 5.30 until 7.15 pm term-time and you would be required to have a CRB check (unless you already have a disclosure for Church). More info available from Diane Brennan, Sue Ellis or Anita Biscomb.  Sometimes people coming to church on disability scooters find it difficult to get to the toilet whilst in church. It would be a help to have a wheelchair available for them. If you know of one that could be donated to the church it would be a great help. Prior to TLG all cupboards and items in the back room at the Parish Rooms need to be removed, unwanted items can be taken to the tip. To coincide with this we will be having a work for church day THIS SUNDAY, 1.00 – 4.00 pm. Please come and help. For more details see Jenny or Gavin. If you would like to help at the club or in planning please let Don know. This trust looks after a number of small bungalows in Kirkthorpe and three larger ones in Normanton.
