Festive volunteers are needed to help with the making of the Christingles, which will be held in church on Thursday 22nd December at 6.30 pm. There will be mince pies and mulled wine too. Could the kind people making stars please give them to Lynsey before or bring them on the night, thank you.

Leaders urgently required for this thriving and demanding ministry. Do you feel God is calling you to reach out to 11-13 year olds in our community who are generally unchurched? The group meets Wednesday from 5.30 until 7.15 pm term-time and you would be required to have a CRB check (unless you already have a disclosure for Church). Wheelchair needed

Sometimes people coming to church on disability scooters find it difficult to get to the toilet whilst in church. It would be a help to have a wheelchair available for them. If you know of one that could be donated to the church it would be a great help.

Work for Church Day

Asda Bus Service

The bus service will run every Thurs in June. It goes from Ripley Court and Wynn Dale to Asda at Glasshoughton and returns an hour or so later.

We also make space available to church family members who would otherwise struggle to get to the shops.

Next month as a trial we will stop by “The Well”.

After-School Club

We are thinking of starting up a new After-School Club based in the Parish Rooms. It will probably be on a Thursday from 4.00 pm until 5.00 pm and will be aimed at children in School Years 5 and 6 (ages 9 to 11 years). No experience necessary, but if you think you’ve got a particular skill and would like to get involved please see Diane Brennan.

Summer Holiday Project – Calling All Young People

Summer Holiday Project – Calling All Young People This year All Saints Youth Project and The Well will be running various events for young people aged 11 – 18 years. The project will begin on the 27th July 2010 and will continue every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon throughout the holiday period. Though we have some events confirmed we would like our young people to be part of the planning. If you would like to be involved then please come along to The Well@Woodhouse every Thursday afternoon 3.00 pm – 5.00 pm. We will also be looking for volunteers to be part of this summer project. Run With The Rhinos
