Rock Solid High Youth Club urgently require some men who would be willing to be on a rota to help out once every half term. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:15pm and work with children aged 11 – 13. If you are interested, please have a chat with Diane Brennan or Andy Vanstan who will tell you more about what is involved. Continue reading Rock Solid – Help Needed We are now putting together Christmas parcels, it would be lovely if we could include some Christmas food items, please remember us when you are out shopping. Thanks Daisy and Janet. Please could all counters arrange cover with other counters should they be unavailable on their allotted days. If on the day no other counter is available, please feel free to ask Janet Robinson or Andy Vanstan. Food Cupboard Now that the Harvest gifts have been distributed the food cupboard is running low on stock, we need small tinned good suitable for one person. Asda bus Most Tuesdays our minibus takes people to Asda if you know of anyone who would appreciate a free ride for shopping please ask them to contact Barbara. Memorial Service: November 14th at 3.00 pm Invitations are on the welcome desk, please deliver any with addresses near you. Operation Christmas Child – Shoe Box Appeal Empty shoe boxes and leaflets are available for collection at the welcome desk. Please bring your completed shoe boxes to church on either Sunday 31st October or Sunday 7th November no sooner or later. If you need any further information please speak to Rachel Budby. We are thinking of starting up a new After-School Club based in the Parish Rooms. It will probably be on a Thursday from 4.00 pm until 5.00 pm and will be aimed at children in School Years 5 and 6 (ages 9 to 11 years). No experience necessary, but if you think you’ve got a particular skill and would like to get involved please see Diane Brennan.
