Sharing the Vision DVD’s are available on the welcome desk for those who were not here.
Training Day Next Sunday July 9th will be a training day worship to have confidence to tell “My Story” for the whole church. This is vital for all members especially those who committed themselves to see the vision fulfilled. There will be no evening worship on that day so that everyone can take part. This will be followed by a BBQ in the vicarage please bring some food with you.
House of Prayer Map Put a pin in your house on the notice board so we can build up a picture of our congregation. If you do not live in Normanton please put a pin at the start of the road you normally use to come to church.
Prayer Walk 10th July to pray around the areas of the parish starting from church. We had 70 people out two years ago let’s see if we can increase on this. The other churches have been invited.
Women on Wednesday Are having a BBQ on 12th July 7.30 pm in the vicarage. Please bring some food, teenage daughters are welcome and you will meet the students.
Men’s Group In the Parish Rooms on Tuesday 4th July.
Students in town 3-18 July Please offer hospitality for a meal for the students, please sign up on the sheet on the notice board.
CAP Student During the summer holidays we will be visited by a Community Action Student. This is a project organised by the Rank Foundation to give young people experience in leadership and responsibility. If you could offer accommodation for this young man during his placement please contact Gavin Budby before Sunday 16th July. The student will need accommodation from Wednesday 16th August until Friday 25th August.
Leaders Meeting There will be a youth leaders meeting on Wednesday 19th July in the Parish Rooms. The meeting will start at 8.15 pm and it is important for all involved in Youth/Children’s ministry to attend. Prior to this meeting in need to meet with all the group coordinators during the week (3rd-6th July). Please contact me to arrange a meeting time.
Thank you To all who supported the coffee morning last Saturday at Altofts, £305.75 was raised for the Children’s Society.
Deputy Wardens Rota If you took a rota out of your pigeon hole last week then please throw it away and use the revised rotas that are now in the pigeon holes.
Mara Visit From Wednesday 25th October—Sunday 12th
November our Diocese will be host to some visitors from the Mara Diocese, we will be host to Eliakum Katikiro from St John’s Cathedral. We need to find accommodation for Eliakum for the whole period or this can be split into two sections. If you are prepared to offer accommodation then please see Jean Oades.
Logan The Logan gig due to take place last Friday 23rd June will now take place on Monday 23rd October.

If you are on duty but cannot make it then you must find a replacement. We have had a number of people recently who have failed to do this and it has caused embarrassing silences in the services, please check your rotas.
