Notice Board:



Confirmation We are hosting a confirmation here together with Kirkthorpe and Crofton on Tuesday. Please come along even if you do not know the candidates closely to encourage and bless them. We will also be Baptising by immersion one of the candidates from Crofton. There will be a rehearsal for all the candidates today at 4.00 pm in church.

Faith Camp There is only 2 weeks to get your booking in at the reduced rate. Act now to avoid extra cost. Booking forms and money to Don or Barbara.

Ash Wednesday This year we are joining together with our Roman Catholic friends at St John’s for worship at 7.00 pm for an Ash Wednesday service.

Baptism Visitors The next baptism preparation evening will be this Wednesday 21st February at 6.30 pm. This is going to be a very busy meeting with lots of families so would all baptism visitors please attend.

Women’s World Day of Prayer This service will be held here on Friday 2nd March at 7.30 pm; the speaker is Sarah Clark. All women welcome.

Training Day Follow up If God challenged you on the last training day and you want to know more about listening to others there are still places left on the one day listening course. Just bring a packed lunch and the rest will be provided. The course is on Saturday 3rd March and runs between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. To book a place or for more information contact Barbara in the church office.

PCC The next meeting will be on Wednesday 21st February, the agendas are in the pigeon holes and précis’ of the January meeting are on the welcome desk.

Property The wardens have tidied out the loft area in the store cupboard and they have put a lot of property in the vestry. If you think there might be something belonging to you would you please look and take it home, if you feel it needs to stay in church then have a word with Jonathan or Inga, anything not claimed will be thrown away after today.

Lost Property The lost property box under the welcome desk is full again, any property not claimed will be thrown away after today.

Rotas The new service rotas for March and the deputy wardens rotas are in the pigeon holes.
Sunday 25th February Duty Roster

If you are on duty but cannot make it then you must find a replacement. We have had a number of people recently who have failed to do this and it has caused embarrassing silences in the services, please check your rotas.
