Amen. Job Vacancies Our Church needs your help! All our young peoples work, welcome and coffee rota, PA, VA, counters for the offering, brass cleaning, flower arranging etc. Please contact us if you can help.

Notice Board: Communion before Confirmation The Church of England has updated the regulations with regard to receiving communion before confirmation. We will allow children from the age of 5 to receive communion after permission from parents and appropriate preparation. For those under 5 it is suggested that those attending with the child give a piece of that which they have received. This will be implemented from today. Should you require further information please speak to Don or Gavin. Annual Parochial Church Meeting The APM meeting is on Wednesday 25th April at 7.30 pm in church. Don will be sharing something agreed by the PCC at this meeting that will have implications for all who worship at All Saints so it will be really important that you are there should there be any need for clarification. This will be in addition to receiving various reports and the elections of PCC members. We have 3 PCC vacancies and 1 Youth vacancy for anyone aged between 18—25. Nomination forms are on the welcome desk, please put your completed form in the box provided. Electoral Roll The new roll is on the notice board, please check that your details are correct. Parish Weekend I am delighted to say that Ken Lawson will be leading our weekend. Ken is Judith Howell’s father and has been engaged in ministry for many years principally with the Salvation Army, and has led weekend’s of study before, and will be looking at “Being Church”. This year the Parish Weekend will be on 12th—14th October, the booking forms are on the welcome desk, please put your deposit and completed form in the box provided. To secure Green Gables for our inclusive use we are committed to 110 places and we have to confirm this by 12th May. Jean Fearnley is running a savings club for those who wish to spread the cost over the year. Baptism Preparation The next meeting is on Wednesday 18th April at 6.30 pm, there will be lots of families attennding so would all baptism visitors please attend. Deputy Wardens Rota The new deputy wardens rotas are in the pigeon holes. PCC A précis of the minutes are on the welcome desk for everyone to read. Abaana I would just like to say a big thank you to all the people who contributed to the work and ministry of Abaana last Sunday. . Lets change some lives. Thanks, Adam Newton An Invitation Joshua Brassington has decided to be baptised today this will take place in the open air in St Sampson’s Square in the centre of York at 3.00 pm and it will be performed by Reverend John Wilson and The Right Reverend John Sentamu, the Archbishop of York. There will be tea and sandwiches afterwards. They would be delighted if anyone would like to go, please contact Richard and Sally on 01904 793438 or 07963617071 to make arrangements. Updates From the Fannons and the Brassingtons are on the welcome desk. All Saints 2007 There has been a change to this, the diocese no longer need to find accommodation for the visitors as it will all take place on one day Sunday 10th June. There will be a service at Wakefield Cathedral at 11.00 am where Bishop Malkhaz Songulashvili the presiding Bishop of the Georgian Baptist Church will preach and lead us in the Blessing of Creation. This is an all ticket event on a first come first served basis. This will be followed by a picnic lunch and a celebration Eucharist with the Archbishop of York at 3.00 pm at Canon Hall Farm, Barnsley. See the notice board for more details. Kingdom Faith Women’s Conference in Horsham Is April 27-28 “Your future’s Bright” with Jenny Gilpin. If you would like to go please speak to Pat Hartley. Communion Non-alcoholic wine is available at each communion service just ask the administrator when you come forward if you would prefer. DVD’s There are a few DVD’s left from Evelyn’s Memorial Service, if anyone would like one for a small donation see daisy or Barbara. Sunday 15th April Duty Roster If you are on duty but cannot make it then you must find a replacement. We have had a number of people recently who have failed to do this and it has caused embarrassing silences in the services, please check your rotas. Wardens Morning: Jonathan Brennan.
