Next Thursday 24th May—Youth Leaders Meeting Sorry that this is short notice but due to the rapid increase in young people attending Rock Solid we need to discuss the next steps. 7.00—8.00 pm in church.

Holiday Club 07 This year’s Holiday Club will take place on 13th to the 17th August and will be called ‘Waste Watchers’ and is aimed at children aged 5-11 years. Gavin will need a team of volunteers to help with the preparation and running of the Holiday Club. There will be a team meeting on Tuesday 5th June in the church at 7.00 pm to discuss and plan the week.

The Mission 07 This year’s Mission Week will take place on 23rd to the 26th October and will be headlined by top rock band Verra Cruz. Gavin will need a lot of help to aid in the many jobs that need to be done when organising a large scale event like ‘The Mission’. The first team meeting will take place on Wednesday 30th May at 7.00 pm in the church.

Brass Cleaning We need a couple of people to help clean the brasses in church, at the moment we only have one brass cleaner and the job is too much for one person. For more information see Barbara or Christine Steels.

Parish Weekend I am delighted to say that Ken Lawson will be leading our weekend. Ken is Judith Howell’s father and has been engaged in ministry for many years principally with the Salvation Army, and has led weekend’s of study before, and will be looking at “Being Church”. This year the Parish Weekend will be on 12th—14th October, the booking forms are on the welcome desk, please put your deposit and completed form in the box provided. To secure Green Gables for our inclusive use we are committed to 110 places. Jean Fearnley is running a savings club for those who wish to spread the cost over the year. 62 places have now been booked. We need 110 to break even!

Thank you—Daisy and Jean.

Updates From the Fannons are on the welcome desk.
