A word from Don about Worldwide Mission
“As a church we are committed to the support of mission both in the UK and overseas both in terms of finance and prayer. We set aside 10% of our total income to support them financially.
We support a number of agencies on a regular monthly basis and also emergency situations as they arise, such as the Tsunami appeal. In addition we make appeals for particular organisations throughout the year.
Speakers from the organisations come to share their experience with us to help us to get a flavour of what their life is like and what their needs are. Newsletters that we receive from individuals that we support are given to all the congregation to help us to be specific in our prayer.
This year the church is really excited as we join with Wycliffe Vision 2025. We will be able to fund Phase 1 of a major new school development in Kenya.
As a Diocese we are twinned with Mara Diocese in Tanzania and as a church with St. John’s Musoma which has become the Cathedral, and we welcomed the Vicar Mecka Ogunde for 10 days in 2004.”

Dear Normanton PCC & Church members
We trust you are all well-enjoying abundant blessings in your life, work & ministry
We would like to take this opportunity to say A BIG THANK YOU to you for believing in us all at Acorn International Ministry. We give God thanks for your financial donation of 100 POUNDS seeded into the Lord’s work. With your generosity & love for people of Indonesia you make it possible for us to preach, teach and reach many un-reached & underprivileged people. The donation will mainly be used to support the running cost and support mothers & babies in our mother & child home . See attached photo of our new baby Matthew , born 2 weeks ago .
You play a vital role in our ministry as our Friends and Partners and we ask that you continue to support us both prayerfully, practically & financially. Many lives are touched and changed forever and together with you, we are making a difference in Indonesia
We will continue to pray for you as we labour together in reaping this end-time Harvest for Him.
We love & appreciate you ,

A Letter from EK – April 2009
Brother and Sister in Jesus Christ, Christians of ALL SAINTS PARISH CHURCH NORMANTON (U.K.). May I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Good day to you all and May the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Also received greetings from your friends Christians of ST. JOHNS CATHEDRAL MUSOMA, they are saying HULLO to you all.
I apologies for being so long in saying Hullo to you and to all Christians of ALL SAINTS PARISH CHURCH NORMANTON.
Christians of ST. JOHN’S CATHEDRAL MUSOMA are grateful for the moral and material support your parish has been providing for our Parish. We appreciate the financial support that you have been providing us. The money you have been sending to us, has been delivered at timely period. The money of £ 400 which was equivalent to Tshs. 643,680/= you sent us was received on 11/2/2009. We have used that money for the work of our Lord Jesus Christ as intended for. We used that money for the following activities:-
To facilitate the programme of door to door evangelism in order to bring back the back – sliders and look for new souls.
Running of special spiritual services Preparations are being made to hold a big spiritual service in the Musoma Municipal Council for the purpose of raising of the spirituality of the church (to make the Church grow in number and faith). We shall have two big spiritual services, one in mid of April and another in June.
To plant a new Church in Makoko area within the Musoma Municipal Council where we have already bought land for that purpose.
Renovation of Vicarage after it had caught fire two years ago.
Holding of Seminars to PCC members on their responsibilities in the Church.
I can openly say that no one among the Christians of ST. JOHN’S CATHEDRAL MUSOMA can doubt for your moral and spiritual aids you have been providing to us. You have played an ever increasing role in our church activities. We couldn’t have sustained on our own.
What we need from you:-
We want our link to provide channel for disseminating information obtained from your Parish and our Parish on matters of moral and spiritual interests.
To be sharing with us the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ Through prayers and put us in your prayers in all our undertakings.
To pray for our work of evangelism in our Municipal Council of Musoma and the areas around it.
To pray for our different groups we have in our church so that God may open doors to them to know Jesus and the plans they have may be achieved.
To pray for our partnership so that it may grow well and exist for the coming generation.
Lastly and foremost, I wish you all every prosperous peaceful life. I wish you all blessings from God and God of peace bless you all abundantly.
Thanks,
Eliakim Katikiro (EK)
