A word from Don about Worldwide Mission
As a church we are committed to the support of mission both in the UK and overseas both in terms of finance and prayer. We set aside 10% of our total income to support them financially.
We support a number of agencies on a regular monthly basis and also emergency situations as they arise, such as the Tsunami appeal. In addition we make appeals for particular organisations throughout the year.
Speakers from the organisations come to share their experience with us to help us to get a flavour of what their life is like and what their needs are. Newsletters that we receive from individuals that we support are given to all the congregation to help us to be specific in our prayer.

- A Thank-You from Open Doors Dec-2011
Thank you for your generous gift of £250.00 raised at your recent Day of Prayer to support the secret children of the persecuted church. With your support, Open Doors is uniquely placed to bring strength and encouragement to Christians in the Middle East, North Africa and other places where faith costs the most. Let me share with you just one example of how lives are being changed. Syria is home to a large community of Iraqi Christian refugees, most of whom cannot legally work or earn an income. Their children are even worse off because they cannot get a proper education. Open Doors works with the local church to give these children a Christian and professional education. Please pray for Christians in Syria and across the Middle East at this time of upheaval, and pray that through the support of Open Doors, many Christians will be empowered to stand firm in some of the most challenging places on earth. May God bless you! Eddie Lyle CEO Open Doors UK & Ireland
