Street Team

Street Team is an initiative to literally meet young people where they are on the street, with nothing to do.  Through sport and other projects we hope to show the young people an alternative to just hanging around.  Look out for The Bus every Thursday evening – Norman Pub field – 7.30pm

Inspire Parent’s Groupinspire

Inspire is a joint project that links ourselves with the SureStart Butterflies Family Centre.  The group’s aims are to encourage young parents to socialise in a friendly and safe environment.

Past sessions have included a trip to Ikea and to the local swimming baths.  We have also been visited by Connexions, Wakefield College, and the “five a day” team to share and discuss opportunities available to these young people.

Meets every Tuesday at the Butterflies Family centre, Newlands School, 12.00pm – 2.30pm
