Regular Giving to Church

Posted on

We would encourage you to pray and consider giving to All Saints or reconsider your giving if you are already contributing. The best way to give is:

  • Regularly – as a church we have regular commitments, so it is good to get monthly income. Please give by monthly standing order if possible.
  • Tax Efficiently – if you are a tax-payer and you fill in a Gift Aid form, All Saints can get all your tax back – an extra 25%. This makes a huge difference to our income.
  • Realistically – we get no subsidies from the Church of England or the Government. Everything is paid for by our giving.
  • Proportionally – the Bible’s guideline is a tithe (10% of income). For some, this may be too much; for others it is a starting point.

There are a number of ways to give to All Saints:

  • Monthly standing order / Planned Giving Envelope
  • Lump sum donations
  • Cheques or cash in the collection
