Welcome to the WOMEN ON WEDNESDAYS (W.O.W) Web Page.
Our intention is to have FUN, to get to know each other better and make it a place where we can bring along
friends who are not necessaily used to church. We meet several times a year,usually at the vicarage, and
we welcome everyonewho would like to come.
Eastern Court Chinese Restaurant 28th November (a great time had by all!)
During the past year we have had a talk from Bob, a member of the church (and the local funeral director which was
a very interesting and infomative evening.
There has been an opportunity to bring along our favourite music,
a get to know you evening, a BBQ and also Pamper nights with manicures and facials for all. We have had discussions and a film night
and are open to any suggestions for different things to do.
Here are some of the things ladies have had to say who have attended.
- A good way to relax,unwind and get to know each other
- Getting to know fellow christians more- a chance you dont get in church.
- I enjoy coming- its always in my diary, and my mums, so she can babysit and give me time out.
